Okay lately I have been exposed to some J-rock as the kids are calling it these days and I am as always way behind the fad, but I think I would rather be behind so I can tell myself I am cool.

I went out and got some good old Japanese horror movies after a day of listening to creepy songs like [link] so if you like freaky cult movies here are some to watch!

Suicide Club

Noriko's Dinner table (after suicide club, it's an ALMOST sequel, but same director so it's still good)

The Japanese Grudge TWO, I kinda hated the first.

OH! And see the Happening! It's fun.

I don't know if I've heard J-Rock. Maybe I have and I just didn't know I was. I have listened to some J-Hip Hop though. (if the category even exists yet.)

I've seen the Grudge 2. Haven't seen the others though. I'll have to check them out. :D

I kind of feel like I am whoring them out like some kind of walking advertisment, but so be it. They are some of the few movies that leave me wanting much more.

And do you mean the japanese grudge 2? The american one was dissappointing, but I saw the japanese one first over a halloween party so I could have just been expecting a lot different.

Yeah. I haven't seen the American versions of The Grudge. I kind of expect them to screw it up so I haven't bothered to watch them. I enjoyed the sequel more than the first one. I think maybe because there was a bit more to it. It moved a bit quicker.

Yeah don't see the remakes, they are disappointing when compared. and a lot less freaky.

The second one did have a lot more, and it gave me nightmares lol.

The second one had the whole thing with the swimming pool didn't it?

I don't recall a swimming pool part, but I watched it lonnnnnnnnnng ago, and on the internet so there may have been missing bits. The part that got me was the end with the little girl pushing her mother down the brick steps.

I think I might've confused it with The Ring 2. ^^; I always mix up The Grudge and The Ring.

Yeah, that's what I did. 'Cause I remember that mother down the steps bit now. :noes:

Haha yeah, they kind of blend together in my head. I have yet to see the Japanese rings though. Are they any good?

The happening eh? Who watches crazy twisted thought-provoking movies like that-I'll bet you went to it with some weird esoteric hippie-kid too didn't ya? And I have indeed seen Suicide Club as well X3
