So, I totally forgot about deviantart while i was at school, and also kind of stopped drawing anything other than still life and landscapes (shoot me in the fucking head). I highly doubt anyone still even glances at my page seeing as it hasn't been updated in a million years, but I want to get back into the swing of things. I do need some help setting up though. I still have no functioning scanner, if anyone can suggest one I would love you forever. And I want to start doing digital color because sharpies and prisma color are getting ridiculously expensive. Please for the love of god suggest some alternatives.

Oh and here are some awesome artists I have been looking at lately that have turned me back to the illustration side :D

I noticed you haven't been on since the stone age but 70% of the people I have on my list haven't been on either. Everyone seemed to start college at the same time and become too busy to log on anymore. :saddrunk:

I don't really know much about scanners so I can't really help there. ^^; One with a light and that plugs in to the computer is about as far as my knowledge goes. :lmao:

For alternatives for digital colours did you mean programs and such? Someone just told me about this program they downloaded called Sai I think. I haven't tried it myself so I couldn't say how good or bad it is...but it's an alternative I guess.

My friend list only shows that about five or six people have been on in months haha. School is just a super fun life-sucking vacuum!

Right now the one I use basically is two semi-flat rocks that I sandwich around the paper and beat until the picture's essence is etched into the lower rock. Then I get a local witch-doctor to magically post the image to the internet. Not a very reliable system to say the least.

Super fun life-sucking vacuum on it's best days.

Hmmm...yeah not the most reliable method I've heard of. But certainly not the worst. And it doesn't have much convenience going for it.

I feel a little bad about having to sacrifice so many innocents' souls to an eternity of walking in a void. But that's the price one has to pay for a good witch doctor these days, I suppose.

Pffft. It'll do those souls good to walk in the void for awhile. :shakefist: Maybe if they spent more time wailing and moaning in dispair there wouldn't be so many obese children. :X

Damn you and your perfect-untopable jokes. I have been trying to think for the whole 27 hours since you posted this about how I could improve the like of funny, but you put a peak on it that can't be beaten.
